Dan is our Director of Community Business. He oversees our small-commercial, farm, and personal lines department. Dan has over 27 years of experience in the insurance industry, which includes agency acquisitions, management, and ownership. He has a strong rapport with the Newton community through his years of volunteering and servicing community insurance needs. Dan served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd and 101st Airborne units.

Dan and his wife Mona have three children and five grandchildren. He enjoys being outside in his free time – working on property projects and spending time with family. Dan will also never pass up a good rodeo, especially the one he attends every August in his hometown of Phillipsburg.

Ken Brown serves as the VP of Human Resources. Ken has vast experience in Human Resources having served Pratt Regional Medical Center in that capacity. Ken has dual bachelor’s degrees in human resource management and Radiology Technology from Friends University, a master’s degree in health services administration from Central Michigan University. Ken’s list of activities includes serving on the Pratt Travel and Tourism Committee, Executive Director of the Miss Kansas Pageant, serving on various boards including Pratt Community College, Kansas Healthcare Human Resources Association, EMPAC EAP, he has also served as American Legion Baseball Kansas State Tournament Director.

Ken and his wife Vickie recently relocated to Valley Center, and both grew up in the Wichita area. They have two sons and five grandchildren. Ken is a sports fan and enjoys reading, music and many other activities. Ken has a passion for human resources and finds his greatest pleasure in helping others with a strong sense of servant leadership.  

Dan is an Employee Benefits Consultant with twenty-eight years of experience in the insurance industry. He brings his vast amount of knowledge to clients and prospective clients with their employee benefits needs. Dan previously worked with Conrade Insurance Group from 2002 to 2009 and is now returning to help launch Conrade Insurance Group’s Employe Benefits Department.

Dan served with the Kansas Army National Guard for twelve years. After his time in the military, he became actively involved in community nonprofits. Dan currently has taken a leadership position at the State level.

Dan has been married to Diane Hawkins for 37 years; they have 2 exceptional daughters of whom they are very proud. They are also blessed with a 3-year-old grandson.

Hannah Hawkins is an Employee Benefits Consultant. She has been in the employee benefits business since 2012, helping groups from 2-300 employees. Graduated from Wichita State University in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in marketing and human resources. Before joining CIG she worked alongside her father who has been in the insurance industry for 28 years. Hannah’s favorite part of the insurance business is building relationships with employees and learning how to serve all walks of life.

In her free time you can find her with her husband and son watching and playing sports. Their child is the light of their life!

Heidi joined our agency in 2009, starting her insurance career. She has a Bachelor of General Studies from Fort Hays State University. She has continued her education in the insurance field by perfecting her knowledge of mental health facilities, hospital nonprofits, and schools and recently obtained her CPIA designation. She prides herself with providing outstanding customer service.

Outside the office, she enjoys family camping trips with her husband and two energetic boys. She also brings Pinterest to life in our office by regularly bringing in baked goods for us to enjoy!

Terri provides us with over 30 years of experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry. She is our go-to person for commercial construction and commercial bonding exposures.

A Kansas Jayhawk fan, she also enjoys reading, walking her dog, and skiing in Colorado. She loves cheese; anyone who brings a cheesy dish to our occasional food days, is sure to be her best friend!

After graduating from Hutchinson Community College in 2008 with an associate degree in travel and tourism, Jennifer became a welcome addition to our team. Since then, she has become an expert in insuring non-profit treatment centers, mental health facilities, and hospitals.

In her free time, Jennifer loves the outdoors and spending time with her kids. Being a mom is her #1 hobby!

Crystal is new to insurance, but is well-positioned to learn the industry from 18 years of being a loan processor. 

Crystal is married to John who is a Master Sergeant in the Airforce. She has two daughters, who keep them busy with soccer, basketball, and competitive dance! She is an avid KU basketball fan and enjoys volunteering her time to help the homeless and children.

Paul graduated in 2015 from the University of Nebraska with a BA in history. His education and work experience have led him to a career from finance to insurance. While working in the banking and mortgage industry, he has learned the value of professionalism and recognizes the need for details. His responsibilities with Conrade Insurance Group requires those same skills as an effective Account Manager.

Paul was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He was blessed with and raised with four wonderful sisters. He served four years honorably in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman. On his time away from work, Paul enjoys hiking and camping.

Denise is responsible for risk placement of commercial accounts. She works within the commercial marketplace to obtain the broadest coverage at the most competitive rates for our customers. She has been a member of the Conrade team for 20 years, and has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Denise is a graduate of Newman University, summa cum laude. She's been a commissioner on the City of Newton Planning and Zoning Commision since 2019. Denise participates in Site Council for USD 373. She has chaired the book fair at her children’s elementary school for several years. She’s also active in her church and teaches youth bible classes. Denise’s hobbies are playing tennis and collecting vintage Fisher-Price Little People.

Tammy has been in the employee benefits business since 2013. Before working in insurance, she worked as a dental assistant and OSHA coordinator. Tammy enjoys working with clients and employees to offer excellent customer service and spends time with state legislators in Topeka lobbying for health bills.

Tammy is married with one grown daughter, who is the light of their life. She enjoys spending time at the lake camping with family and friends, growing in her faith and volunteering.

Denise earned her degree in Business Management & Marketing from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas. Having been in the insurance industry for over 20 years, she considers herself fortunate to have worked with business owners in Kansas and across the country.  As a member of the Conrade Team, Denise enjoys her work with local industry leaders in healthcare, non-profit organizations and community business.

When she’s not working, she loves to read and cheer her boys’ sports teams.  As a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Denise volunteers to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

Malory joins Conrade Insurance with seventeen years’ experience in customer service. She is a Newton native and Newton High School alum. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Wichita State University.

Malory loves to travel and spent five months backpacking in Europe in 2016. She is a busy mom of girls, with an energetic toddler and new baby. She and her family enjoy all kinds of music and spend their weekends watching Disney movies and playing in the dirt!

Jesseca comes to Conrade Insurance with over 15 years of customer service experience. She became an insurance agent because she wanted to help her clients navigate insurance policies in order to provide them with knowledge and peace of mind. She holds her PLCS and CLCS designations as well.

When Jesseca isn’t working, she is spending time with her two sons, usually running between practices or games. She also enjoys working in the yard or fishing with the kids.

Martha genuinely enjoys helping her customers and strives to build a strong, trustworthy rapport through each interaction. Her outstanding customer service has been recognized and honored by the Newton Chamber of Commerce.

She loves the KU Jayhawks and follows their men’s basketball season closely. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially with her nephew. She is passionate about any organization that helps the innocent or voiceless.

Sarah a Newton native and has a very strong connection with the local community. She has a feisty and fun attitude that can lighten up any room. Sarah has served as a Chamber Ambassador for over 10 years. She has been licensed in property/casualty insurance for over 20 years and has formed trusted relationships with her customers.

Sarah is married with three children and five grandchildren. She and her husband are taking advantage of their empty nest and travel whenever possible! Whether it’s hiking in the mountains or swimming in oceans, they are always ready for their next adventure!

Vanessa’s insurance career began in December of 2020. She is dedicated to providing a great customer service experience. She always looks forward to creating a new friendship with her clients and to gain their trust in providing insurance products that meet their needs.

A Kansas native, yet Vanessa lived in many states throughout her childhood. Vanessa and her husband are blessed with 2 children. She and her husband spend most of their free time with their family, friends, and taking trips together. Vanessa enjoys visiting, cooking, baking and helping others, as well as, playing with their family animals.

Hannah joined Conrade Insurance Group in 2023. She provides risk placement and account manager services. Her desire to serve others by fostering strong working relationships while maintaining a high level of professionalism is what makes clients willing to refer her to their family and friends. She studied pre-med at Butler Community College and pre-vet at McPherson College.

Hannah was born and raised in Andale, Kansas and is the youngest of 5 siblings. She loves being able to help people and feels that meeting their needs is important. When not helping people or keeping busy Hannah can be found enjoying her favorite activity: spending time with her nieces.

Kelli comes to us with a decade-long career in the mortgage industry and a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Bethel College. Kelli will put you at ease with her upbeat attitude and know-how when processing policies and overseeing details. Kelli’s gift for making others feel valued and appreciated fits perfectly with the Conrade culture!

Do not ask this Colorado native if she likes to ski. However, she does love the mountains in the summertime. Hoops being her last name makes perfect sense, as she is tall in stature and married to Tony, a college athletic director. The two share an avid love of sports all the while, raising two little ones, Kendri and Tysen.

Tammy has fifteen years of insurance processing experience. She has experience in school bookkeeping and as a city clerk as well. She likes the details and problem-solving that are involved in processing. 

She and her husband live in the country where they enjoy watching the wildlife and hosting family gatherings. Tammy and her husband also enjoy serving at their church and spending time with their 7 grandchildren.

Heidi, a lifelong resident of Newton, came to Conrade from a successful career in education. For 17 years, she taught special education and worked in early childhood development for the area school systems. Heidi also has a Master's degree in Special Education from Wichita State University. Looking for a new adventure, Heidi joined our team as a Service Advocate.

Outside of the office, Heidi finds joy in spending time with her loved ones. She's a wife, a mom to three children, and a pet parent to two dogs. When she's not busy cheering on her family, you might find her traveling to new places, playing games (board games or crossword puzzles!), or simply enjoying quality time with friends and family.

Rebecca Outland is an Employee Benefits Service Advocate, supporting Employee Benefits Consultants during enrollment and beyond. She works closely with business partners, clients, prospective clients and their employees. She assist with the development and production of proposals and review booklets. Prior to Insurance Rebecca worked in quality assurance at a major aircraft manufacturer for 30 years.

Rebecca has two children and one grandchild. In her spare time it is spent with Family.

Issac Enriquez graduated from Bethel College in 2023 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He provides accounting support as well as excellent client service both internally with employees and externally with insured clients, carriers, and vendors.

Issac was born and raised in Shafter, California, and ended up in Newton after earning a 4-year football scholarship at Bethel. While in school he met and married his wife and became a bonus dad of 4 kids. Issac enjoys going to the gym, attending church, and is always ready to eat good Mexican BBQ.

Evin has 4 years of Marketing experience, with a specialization in Digital Marketing channels. She recieved her BA double majoring in Communcations and Public Relations from Kansas Welseyan University.

Evin has volunteered as a youth basketball and volleyabll coach, and judged for the Kansas BPA State Assocation. She is a pet parent to a fluffy cat named Bourbon, and a spunky dog named Maya. During her free time, she spends it being active (walking her dog most of the time!), reading, enjoying time with family, or cheering for the Chicago Bears.
