Life Insurance
Life is unpredictable. While you can’t control the future, you can control the plan you leave behind for the people who matter most. When you pass, your loved ones will need time—time to grieve, time to heal, and time to adjust. Unfortunately, financial responsibilities like the mortgage, tuition, and basic living expenses do not pause for grief. Without a plan, these demands can quickly overshadow their emotional well-being, forcing difficult choices just when they need stability most.
Life insurance is your final, loving promise. As an independent agency, Conrade Insurance Group works for you, not the carrier, meaning we shop across multiple companies to secure the right solution—from simple term life to complex whole life—that provides the essential financial cushion for all your needs. Give them the gift of time to simply mourn and heal. Read more about your tailored life insurance options here.
Term Life
Term life insurance covers you for a specific time, or “term.” A typical term is 10, 20 or 30 years. If you die during that time, your loved ones receive a payout for the amount you purchased.
Whole Life
Whole life insurance is another type of permanent life insurance. It covers you for a lifetime. Unlike term policies, whole life policies accumulate cash, which can be a living benefit. You can use a whole life policy to take loans after it has accrued cash value.
Universal Life
Universal life insurance is a type of “permanent” life insurance. (Permanent life insurance policies cover you for life, whereas term life policies only cover you for a specific period.) Universal life allows you to raise or lower your premium or coverage throughout your lifetime. The cash value can earn interest based on financial market values.
Variable Life
Variable life insurance is a type of permanent life insurance with an investment component. It has a cash value account invested in subaccounts like stock, bond or money-market accounts.
Survivorship Life
Survivorship life insurance is sometimes called “joint” or “second-to-die” life insurance. These whole life policies insure two lives and pay benefits after the last insured person dies. They are less popular than “first-to-die” policies, which pay out when one of the named insureds dies. You don’t have to be married to enter a survivorship policy.
