You wouldn’t dream of heading out with an empty tank. You shouldn’t shortchange yourself on auto coverage, either. Call us for a quick protection pitstop to make sure you’re covered no matter how far you roam. We’ll verify your auto coverage for things like:
Liability insurance: The mandatory coverage your state requires for damage, injuries, or death you cause in an accident. The cost of repairing a vehicle is high due to the onboard technology, like cameras and sensors. And state minimums often aren’t high enough. Remember, liability insurance doesn’t cover you, your passengers or your vehicle.
Collision insurance: Covers the damage to your car if you cause an accident or hit a stationary object, like a tree.
Comprehensive insurance: Covers damage to your car that isn’t due to a collision. Think fires, hail, theft, floods, vandalism or hitting an animal. (Animals can cross roads unexpectedly, especially at dawn and dusk, and a collision with a deer or moose can cause severe damage.)
Uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance (UM/UIM): Covers accidents with drivers who don’t have insurance or don’t have enough. State-required auto insurance limits are often too low for real-world damages.
Personal injury protection (PIP): Covers your medical expenses and sometimes lost wages after an accident. Liability doesn’t cover you or your passengers, just the other driver. PIP isn’t available in every state.
Medical payments (MedPay): Covers doctor and hospital bills for you and your passengers, but not lost wages. MedPay is offered in states that don’t allow PIP. Again, liability doesn’t cover you or your passengers, just the other driver.
Roadside assistance: Can be a lifesaver on a road trip. This service can help if you have a flat tire, run out of gas, need a tow or a jump, or lock your keys in the car.
