Thursday, January 9th, 2025 – Caleb Flint, CFO & General Counsel at Conrade Insurance Group (CIG), was recognized by the Wichita Business Journal during their 2025 CFO Award ceremony at the Riverfront Stadium this afternoon in Wichita, KS.

Caleb got his start in finance calculating FICA taxes for his dad’s small two-person firm in a town of 1,500 growing up. Since then, he has lived in the New York City and Philadelphia Greater Metropolitan Areas, working for two different start-ups that both later sold to public companies.

While Caleb enjoyed those experiences, what he craved was the opportunity to join a company that was in it for the long term. An organization that invested in their community and strived to remain independent. “I got that chance at Conrade Insurance Group. At Conrade Insurance Group, I have the opportunity to work with Chris and Darrell Conrade who truly live our mission, to protect and preserve the communities, businesses, and families of Kansas,” said Caleb.

Chris Conrade, President of Conrade Insurance Group, praises Caleb not only for his financial mind, but  for his team-oriented work approach. Chris shared, “We were very blessed to cross paths with Caleb. It’s not every day that a Wharton MNBA and Penn Law graduate finds their way to Newton, Kansas, and is looking for a career opportunity at the same time we’re looking for someone who can provide us with the skills to vault our business to the next level. That is absolutely who Caleb Flint is.”

Caleb spearheads the financial department for CIG, as well as, oversees strategic partnerships for the organization such as mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, he assisted the company during a merger with Krueger Insurance Management, another greater Wichita insurance business. Caleb stated, “So far since I’ve been here, we’ve been through four mergers and acquisitions. And what I really love about the process is when you first meet with somebody, they’re a competitor, but over time we start to build trust. And throughout the process, they eventually become someone who wants to partner with you and join your organization. I’ve enjoyed being there from start to finish. Everything from initial conversations, to negotiations, to bringing them into the organization. My background with both legal and finance has been really helpful in that regard.”

Caleb is married to his wife Heather, with whom they share four children, an eleven, nine, seven, and one-year-old. Outside work, he is heavily involved with his church and the Newton Lions Club.
